This month, we are featuring our client, Seattle Study Club, Inc. (SSC), and their success story.
Seattle Study Club, Inc. (SSC) is an international network of doctors interested in furthering their knowledge to provide excellent care to each and every patient that comes into their practice. Their annual meeting, Symposium, hosts interactive educational programs, discussion on the latest developments in dentistry and presentations by world-renowned clinical speakers.
Originally, SSC had an event app provider lined up several months before their event. Unfortunately, as the event date approached, things went south very quickly with the contracted vendor. Kimberly Lieberman, Director of Marketing, had no choice but to switch to a new mobile event app (25 days before their event started). The worst part of this journey was she had to look for a new contractor on New Year's Eve. As you can imagine, many companies were closed on the 31st for the New Year celebration. For the other responses she received, either the quotes exceeded her budget, or the vendor had no interest/capacity to take on a rush case like this. "Desperate and panic" are probably the most suitable adjectives to describe the moment Kimberly was facing, until she called us.
Challenges arise out of blue; we understand and are here to help. Considering the event was starting on 1/25 and the SSC team needed at least a week to market the app, the app had to be delivered no later than 1/18. Eager to help Kimberly and SSC, we stepped in to take on their rush case and waived the rush service fee. With the collaboration between the Eventpedia and SSC teams, together we made it. With such a tight timline, there was no error allowed as any mistake would potentially delay the delivery. Fortunately, we have seasoned staff on our team who knew exactly how to handle the situation in the most time-efficient manner. We worked with Kimberly very closely on their project every single day (including evenings and weekends). She found the backend portal easy to use which allowed them to import data quickly without any entry barrier.
