Grupian is built with the goal of providing an easy and efficient way for app users to connect professionally with peers all over the world. As a part of this mission, respecting and preserving user privacy is extremely important to us.

Our privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use this information, who this information is shared with, and most importantly, how we protect your information and privacy. Furthermore, this Privacy Policy determines the basis of whether users have allowed Grupian to use your data and outlines the policies that we have taken to protect you.

We use your personal data to provide and improve the Services being offered. By using the service and signing the Privacy Policy, you have agreed to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

  • “Grupian”, “we”, “our”, “us”, “company” refers to Grupian app or Avodigy LLC

Information You Provide, or Personal Data

  • If you create an account with the Grupian app, you are required to put in email, password, first name and last name.  Other information such as photo, employer, title, address, and phone number are optional.

 

  • If you log into the app through your association management system (AMS) or 3rd party software, the information we collect will come from such systems.

 

  • Your messages: Your messages will be stored in the cloud server, but it will be stored with industry stand security mechanism.  Your posts and messages are only viewable by the app users and your association admin will not have access to such information.  Only the server administrators have access to such info.  Server administrators will not access such information unless requested by the user or association admin for specific purposes.

 

  • Your contacts: Over the course of use of our Services, we may maintain a list of contacts, groups, and chat rooms. Such information is accessible by association admin to manage the operation/process of the Grupian app.

 

Other Information from Use, or Usage Data

  • Usage information: We collect information about your activity, generally service-related and performance information. This information includes your activity, such as how you communicate, who you communicate with etc., log files, and diagnostics and crash data and reports. Log files include data such as details about how our Services have been used, access times, pages viewed, and more.

  • Device information: We collect device information upon installation of our Services. For example, we may collect information about user hardware and software such as model, operating system, browser, IP address, and more, location information, and connection information like mobile network, service provider, IP address and more. This information is used solely for the purpose for providing the services and functionalities offered to you.

We may collect information about you from third parties such as other users or our affiliates. These third-party providers help us operate, improve and customize our Services. For example, we work with companies, organizations, and non-profits to distribute our apps and provide Services for their members.   • Your association or other organizations that you belong to

 

Retention of Your Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.
