We have to hand it to Abila – they hosted quite the memorable conference this year at AUDC 2015. We were so impressed by the entire event, from the opening keynote to the closing reception, that we decided to reflect on our experience.
Let’s begin with what you’d think would be a typical standard procedure – Registration. Thanks to our friends at Expo Logic the interactive registration process was easy, smooth, and set the tone for the whole conference. Not to mention the lead retrieval solutions they supplied the exhibitors with. We couldn’t wait to get back to the office knowing our organized list of leads was waiting for us to digest.
Moving along, we can’t discuss AUDC this year without touching on the Opening Reception hosted by Abila (www.abila.com). From the delicious food, to the Abila-branded pedicabs that transported attendees to the world-famous Austin City Limits Moody Theatre for a fun performance by Blackjack Billy, we couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick off AUDC. What an excellent time to network, or simply kick back and enjoy the vibes of Austin with our wonderful partners and colleagues. This was definitely an unforgettable experience.
Another thing that comes to mind when reflecting on our AUDC 2015 experience is the amount of attention and gratitude Abila showed their partners. They truly personalized the experience, especially during the Partner Rally where we were able to learn more about the Abila Marketplace and attend special sessions. The networking activity, where each person was assigned a number badge in an effort to find other people assigned the same number, was particularly memorable. This generated a lot of buzz amongst colleagues, and we were able to make many connections as well as create new friendships.
Something else that comes to mind that you don’t always see at conferences is the host organization making charitable efforts. Similar to last year, Abila provided attendees and exhibitors the opportunity to contribute to charity by building stuffed animals for Rescue Buddies. We loved this concept and hope to see more conferences making charitable efforts in the future.
To sum up our experience at AUDC 2015, we were honored to power the mobile event app for the event. Hearing wonderful feedback from attendees, sponsors, speakers, and so on truly made our trip worthwhile. Thank you to Abila for loving our event app and allowing us to showcase it this year.
